Yeah, you're right - it's just that I wasn't sure how well Horrid Wilting would work, and fire usually is a pretty reliable friend - but I'll pick the Wilting next time for sure...thx for the advice :D

Also give skull trap a try. Its power get better with your lvl, so it's incredibly powerful when you're high in lvl. And you can have a lot of them.
IMO another great spell is limited wish....you can have some 9th lvl spell (time stop) with a 7th lvl one...

Dude, try a kensai/druid, a great character IMO (also good for ToB with the druid improvements.....). You have a lot of nice defencives spells for your kensai......

Hehe - I know...I've been really busy on this board...or not...Actually I signed up to ask about a bug in my game - but now I've completed the game I feel I can join the general talk, too.
Btw. has anybody noticed how the league of Divinity really tries to get everybody else "against" us? They're accepting anybody besides Thief+variants, mages+variants and fighters (guess that's only because they can't cast spells...I mean - they're trying kinda hard - somewhat pathetic...oh well - they'll try and they'll fail... :P
And to talk about something else - I have a problem with the multiplayer part - I mean, if I create, say, 4 characters of my own and want to play them at once, then I'm gonna miss quite a few quests, if I don't remove some of them to make space for e.g. Jaheira, Imoen etc...that kinda sux I think...or maybe I'm just a whiner...

@tRiKzTaR, For a second I thought the League had broken the cease-fire. :p We agreed to back off each other after a fairly incendiary little war on the second page of the Shadow Mages. So far things have been cordial (probably because the League gets much less action then it used to). Also, the Pope seems to have vanished so I guess Manveru is the de facto leader of the League of Divinity now (pending his return).
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I have soloed a Blade and it is great, wenn you can cast tensers transformation youre really powerfull.
Wielding cf or crom feayer main hand and dakkons zerth blade or mace of disruption and later on blackrazor offhand is cool.
And the spells get really strong like skull trap and cone of cold. I can recomend them to you.

Ignore the League....they can do what they want, if they don't break the cease fire.... ;) :p

About the wild mage....if it would be possible to dual class....it would be great. One more game to play....(one as pure wild mage, one as dual classed)

if you want a ranger/cleric, take a stalker/cleric. That way you get backstab an d the mage spells. I think its best to dual at lvl 9, so you can still become a lvl 19 cleric. But maybe with ToB coming out it would be better to dual a little later.

The beautiful weather is back!! :D :D :p  :p :D :D

Hi guys...

Yesterday I created a mp game, imported my a$$ kickin sorcerer, and added an assassin plus anoher mage...then I saved, copied the savegame to the singleplayer folder, and started playing...now I know it's pretty easy in the beginning with a 19th lvl sorcerer, but what I found kinda weird was that while the assassin is my main character in the new game, my sorcerer is still able to turn into the slayer, though the game asks my assassin if he wishes to transform...and that's in the very beginning - I haven't even had any dream sequences yet...oh well - just thought it was somewhat odd...
