Can't think of any offhand.
Lost Souls :
A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?

Real commanders display their battle skill on the front lines.
I've got something to say to you dwarven bigots: "Harglukkin phuul naubol jhal waela rothen ulu ussa!"
He died a natural death as a dagger in the chest naturally kills you.

Ummm well there was a gnome in a book who killed a medusa. The book was Temple Hill. Forgot the Gnomes name though. Other than that, nope.

You have to remember that gnomes aren't heroes usually. They make potions, equipment, scrolls, etc. for heroes most of the time.
Real commanders display their battle skill on the front lines.

Yah, thats true, in most books the gnomes are the supply mart. But with 3e i hope more people try to break sterotypes. Some great ones ive seen in my games is a halfling druid, dwarf necromancer and a gnomish paladin.

Techniqually any gnomes you play games with are gnomish heroes if that helps.
Real commanders display their battle skill on the front lines.
