The Shadow Mages were founded on April 5, 2001 as the joining of the Council of Mages and the Shadow Guild. Deciding to put an end to the petty bickering between the two groups, the Shadow Mages were created to serve not only as a source of information on thief and mage tactics, but also as a place where people could relax and share their common interest in Baldur’s Gate II, Shadow of Amn. We’d had our share of fun (Hell Orca and Mini skirt discussions come to mind
) and flames (the feud with the League of Divinity ) and from both we have only gained in strength. We’ve gone from an unknown consortium to the largest group in the Shadows of Amn board. Now we celebrate our 500th post and I look forward to 500 more. So here’s to all you fellow Shadow Mages! You guys are the best! As a bonus I thought I’d post this in honor of our 500th post. It’s a list of how many posts each spammer has put on the Shadow Mages (as of this post) and gives you a good idea of who hangs out here the most. It wasn’t quick to assemble but It was fun going back through all the old posts. Some fond memory’s there.

So the winner of the coveted Shadow Mage Spam Crown is… me.
Just goes to show how much spare time I have. Of course I did have some competition. Edwin, TheDude and myself seem to form the triumvirate of Shadow Mage spamming. If it weren’t for the three of us spamming, the Shadow Mages would only be celebrating their 200th post. I’m looking forward to hearing from Edwin, TheDude and anyone else who has a speech. But enough of my platitudes. Let’s party down people! Drinks are on me!
