Jaheira and Bracers of Archery

Anyone know why she can't use them? They are not usuable by Druids, but she is a Fighter/Druid after all. As such, it's true that she can't use any weapon restricted to Druids but she can wear all armor. So why not the BoA?

Well, she can't be an archer, since that would require being able to use a bow... so it makes sense that she can't use Bracers of Archery, doesn't it?

Well, not really. The description says nothing of only Archers being able to use them. You could very well put them on Korgan while throwing axes, for example. And if you remember, these bracers were obtainable in BG1 as well, found on the "fastest dart-thrower in the west" or something similiar.

Never thought to give em to her. Well, she can't use piercing wpns, and no missile wpns other then the sling, maybe the bonus it provides go against her ethos.... Thats my best answer, failing that, maybe no one cared enough to fix the bug

C'mon now, please. All Druids can use Darts (which are missiles) and Spears (which are piercing).
