See, I told you so, though, I think there's law about seat belts. It's just not strict enough. It's not worth driving in Japan, particularly city areas.
Public transport is much better and cheaper, especially compared with UK system, so why should I bother driving in Tokyo, anyway?

One of the problem is, if there's an accident, the worst driver(s) being responsible only 90%. So, for example, even if a pedestrian was killed by a car while crossing a perican under the green light, the driver is responsible for only upto 90%. I think that's unfair and ridiculous.
