Alright, i'd like to know what gear my fellow Shadow Mages wear...

My Assassin wears:
Armor: The Nights Gift +5 (very nice indeed.. cool name aswell)

Gauntlets: Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise (a must)

Girdle: Girdle of Stone Giant Strength (this on rocks!)

Cloak: Cloak of Non-Detection (to good for words...)

Amulet: Periapt of Proof Against Poison (dont know why)

Boots: Boots of Speed (again, to good for words)

Helmet: Burial Mask (helps againt critical hits, and its the only "helmet" thiefs can use)

Ring 1: Mercykiller Ring (very good assassin ring)

Ring 2: Ring of Regeneration (you know...)

1st Weapon: Cutthroat +4 (awesome for backstabing)

2nd Weapon: Short Bow of Gesen (nice bow)

thats about all i think :D

BTW, I have TOB yesterday :D :D :D ! Second country to have it outside USA.

I haven't play it because of its the end of financial year and there is a lot to do. I am still trying to work out the best dual-class/multi-class. Any one got suggestions?

You know I figured out that a fighter thief in ToB would be really cool.
Because if you could combine greater whirlwind with assasination, you have 10 backstabs a round!

Hiya guys! Independence Day was a blast, though not literally since it's been raining for the past few days. But since it's been so dry here in Alaska the downpour is welcome (I can save the fireworks for New Year's Eve). I see we got some new members while I was gone too. ;) :D

Once you guys get ToB you can ditch the Shadow Dragon Scale and go with the much snazzier White Dragon armor (-2 AC) for strait class thieves or Aslyferund's Elven Chain for Thief/Mages (0 AC).
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Yeah i suppose i could... but i somehow dont think White dragon scales fits a assassin (how the hell do you hide in the shadows with white clothing???)

And im saving Aslyferund's Elven Chain for my Sis, Imoen :D (witch is using Bladesinger atm).

hehe lol Pebz funny :D

as for the shadow dragon scale:
yes thiefs can wear it because somehow it is considered a leather armor instead of a dragon scale.

Congratulations on getting Tob Edwin!

I just Defeated Irenicus in hell again with my party and played a little bit of ToB. So far good news, no major bugs in the Tob section. I picked up Sarevok (he is level 18). I dropped Valagar to pick him up. So what are your first impressions of Tob?

Wasn't that impossible due to them both having a duration of only one round? Meaning you couldn't cast the second before the first expired? That would be one of the more sensible decisions Bio has made..

Maybe it's for hiding in the snow :D
