Broken Sword (Spoiler)

In the first dungeon when you kill the Dreuger you recieve a broken sword. Can anything be done with it, like having it forged into a new one?

i believe, might be wrong, but if you use normal weapons, sooner or later they will be replaced by broken weapons in inventory, then you toss, and buy more...

why use normal weapons, when so many cool enchanted ones exist???

cause prot from magic weapons....

also, teh create weapons mage spell will give you broken weps after a day or so...
