the lawful/chaotic/neutral decides your actions (if you're good) if you play RPG wise... as a lawful you shouldn't kill anyone without proof that they have done something that is punishable by death, as a chaotic good you can do whatever you want since chaotic good's destroy what they see as evil, so you don't have to think what is the right correspondence to a situation, you can just do whatever you think is right, the neutral strives to destroy everything that is even little bit tainted (IIRC can't remember the basics of neutral...)
so killing of the whole bandit camp is actually ok for any good character since, they all attack you--->self defence, but if that's not enough, chaotics/neutrals can kill them, since they are hardly choir boys, that live in that -->bandit<-- camp, they all attack you... i don't think lawful's would either think this or that about killing them, they are hardly innocent, if their first reaction when they see the PC&party is to attack-->attempt to kill them, now are they?

Full Plate
I recall to have found one in the basement of Durlag's Tower, 3th level I believe. Choose the entrance to the top section in the room where fireballs are blasting from the centre. There you will have to activate the statues to fight the greater Wyverns. After you kill the wyverns, kill your statue-companions. One of them wears a full plate mail.
