Possible Glitch???

I killed Lassal downstairs and he simply WONT appear upstairs in the spike room!! Has anyone else run into this? I cannot progress further and I really dont want to restart, as I have done most of the other quests up to this point.

Well, just load your savegame PRIOR to killing him. I mean, you do save regularly, don't you??
