I doubt I'll go through the boy racer stage, so far my close friends have proven to be careful drivers (and on the occasions where my dad has taken me for driving practice out in the bush so have I). Some of my distant friends are terrible drivers though, I've genuinely feared for my life when driving with some of them.

I don't know, my best friend who did the course this year says there's not many contact hours, but there's a lot of homework. I think I'll enjoy getting back to studying though, especially without the stupid pointless sports days of high school and the less stifling atmosphere of Uni.
Personally, seeing some of the drivers in the uk, i am glad they changed the system for Oz, take my word for it people need all the help they can get...

Are they just dangerous or are they actually quite skilled but drive really fast?

Getting back to study, i have been meaning to do the same myself, unfortunately i am kind of lazy ;)

While it's a good change, it's also a bit inconvenient...and the bad drivers are usually the ones who just ignore things like speed limits and road courtesy etc.
In the case of some of my friends they are quite dangerous, they go at ludicrous speeds and tend to ignore road rules if it's inconvenient to pay attention to them. They also seem to have a lot of road rage.
Basically I decided I'm not going in their cars again...
And one of them was playing It's Raining Men on their sound system, which was nearly just as bad as the awful driving...

What are you planning on studying @Sleep?

Ahh so no skill and driving fast, a recipe for disaster to be sure. I tend to drive kind of fast at night on the tight and twisty roads, usually for fun, other than then i am a quiet driver...of course i do get on motorways and drive at 90+ but that is different ;)

Perhaps they are not happy with driving and have to vent frustrations through it?

Me? Forensic Psychology at the moment, if not that some other field in psychology but forensic is the one i am mostly leaning towards.

Deeply, deeply cool. :D From all the cop/detective TV shows I've seen, being a forensic psychologist has to be the best job out there - and being male, you may well fill a niche in the market - it's always the female psychologists who end up having flings with the male detectives. You could have your choice of all the women in CID!! :D

Ode: Yes. But, I notice that YOU didn't mention that part for Sleep. No corrupting him now!

I might point out that I haven't tried to get into Vet since hearing that either, I'm still going for Philosophy and Ethics.

Sleep is already corrupted far beyond what even my talents at corrupting people could manage. :D
More to the point, that bit of infor mation wasn't relevant to the conversation at the time. ;)
