journal bug in host tower ? Major spoiler !

I have noticed upon reaching the host tower in Luskan that there seems to be a problem with the journal. Major bits of information regarding Aribeth and Maugrim have not appeared......
Then at the forth level of the tower I encountered the wizard Rinaldo who provided me with even more details about Aribeth's dissappearance.....
Curious at why the journal was not flashing I checked the entries, and where there should have been something there was a blank space....when I clicked on it the following appeared:

ERROR: blank journal entry: m2qE_Main

Has anyone else experienced this.....? Might there be any possible solutions...... ? I am concerned that this will affect my completion of the game.....

I had that happen too. I can't remember if I was at the same spot as you, but at the time I may have been. I remember that I only had a few open journal entries left and one was like yours.

I shrugged and went back to killing stuff... I finished the chapter and it hasn't happened again.

@DW, have you downloaded any patches for the game? I know there were some journal fixes done in patch 1.18, but unfortunately Bioware haven't said what was fixed.

The last time I did the tower quests I was on build 1.20 and it seemed to work fine. I'm just about up to it on build 1.22 so I'll keep a close watch on the journal to see what happens.

I just downloaded 1.22.....
I'm not sure yet if it has helped, and it appears to have eliminated my special abilities as did the earlier one...*sigh*

@DW - wasn't your reinstall a full clean one? You could do the same again and download the patches manually and in order (since each patch fixed different things) from the Bioware site, the first being 1.18 IIRC, then 1.19, 1.20 and 1.22...Using the update feature in the game only downloads the very latest patch.
