If I have to, I'll go all Storm of Vengeance on ya.

So Tyb, it looks like the MN twins will be at the Fen this weekend. Pedro goes tonight which is good. The twins have been awful and with any luck they'll continue their misfortunes. Most notably, last night, a player or two lashed out against the manager. Dissention in the ranks perhaps. Maybe they'll even give the white sox a chance to get back in it.

The Red Sox are here next weekend. I can't wait, got tickets for the whole weekend. It's a bummer though, if Pedro pitches tonight, than he'll probably go again on wednesday, which means he would start while here in minnesota. Do you know if they've been on a four or five man rotation as of late??
Well let me think:
Pedro
Lowe
Burkett
Castillo
Fossum has pitched a couple

Thats all I can think of now, so that means-yes a 5 pitcher rotation-but Castillo has been awful.

So youre in MN right now? I thought you were here in New England.

I hope the Twins get back on their feet. Theyre a great team that has functioned very well except as of late. All they need to do is relax and realize what the situation is. They are the only winning team in that devision (literally) and so they should be a shoe-in if they keep it together.

EDIT-Later Ned. Hopefully we can continue this sports discussion another time soon.

Yeah but I thought Burkett was hurtin', Castillo is out of the rotation, and i believe Wakefield has gotten starts as of late.

Indeed, I am a partial twins fan as well. I've lived up here in the twin cities for almost 9 years. It has been real interesting to see the twins program come to fruition. They have acquired no one and the team is basically the best of their farm system over the years. With the exception of guzman and milton whom they acquired from the yankess when they dealt the sobbing knob-block-head away. This city still hates that man.

No, not in NE anymore. I actually moved away from there in 1982. did a few years in West Virginia, finished HS in wisconsin and did my college tour of duty in wisconsin. After I graduated I moved to Minneapolis because it seemed like fun and a lot of the 'gang' from college were headed this way.

Still, my roots remain true to the Bosox.

Why is it exactly you cheer for the yankees Kam? I just want to know. And why the obnoxious type. We can all hear you just fine in a normal font.

Additionally, I find it offensive and potentially reportable to moderators for you to refer to anyone as stupid. Especially when it comes to cheering for a sports team. Does your life revolve around such a rival.

Im a bit behind in my Baseball news. Im getting frustrated that the Yankees keep winning. Im still waiting for Hermanson to get better from his day 1 injury. He can certainly help our rotation. Youre probably right about Castillo, I thought I saw him in the bullpen the other day, I just wasnt sure. And Burkett, I hardly knew of any injury, but I knew he was struggling as of late. Ill look up our rotation today, to give you a final word on how our rotation is doing.

Sounds like youve done too much moving. Thats pretty annoying, and uncomfortable I assume. West Virginia must have been boring for sports, all they have is the Mountaineers in college.

:D

My father comes from Clifton, a city in Northern NJ - right next to Paterson/Passaic if you know the area. Nearest baseball team is the Yanks (the Mets don't count) and it's a family tradition. No I'm not just a guy who thinks it's trendy to wear an NYY cap, I'm an avid fan and I watch as many games as I can, despite the fact that games are live at 1:30 in the morning here and they rarely show Yanks games...

Satisfied?

Yeah Tyb, it was pretty boring for sports. No red sox, no patriots, no bruins, no teams there.

If the Dodgers hadn't moved, the Yanks never would be rich enough to afford to 'buy' their winning teams. They would have to slug it out like the rest of 'em... (I actually have no idea if what I said was true: I don't follow the Yanks, but my Mom is a Red Sox fan from way back...) :D :p
