Class change???

Some people were talking about how to change race midway through the game. Is there anyway you can change class, too??? I have a character who is a nord barbarian who is proficient with axes. I'd like to change him into a dark elf warrior, but the problem is the proficiency!!! I don't want my warrior to wield axes, I somehow need to change his proficiencies, too. If someone can tell me how, it'd be alot o help. tnx

Well, Im not sure. But it sounds like you want to change class AND race. Why not just start a new game?
