I agree with your first paragraph, BS. A question just came to my mind. Now that there are 4 devisions, are there going to be 4 different devision winners and 2 wildcard opponents in the playoffs?

I also agree with BS's second paragraph. Couch is going to be better, but he needs to carry the team, and I still dont think hes ready for that.

Bills should be good. I agree with Ned. Sleeper pick on this team is smart. All they needed to do is get rid of Rob Johnson and theyre going to be a good team again.

I think that trade was smart on the Raiders aswell. I kind of liked Tony Dungy, though. But I also like Gruden. So I will have to wait and see with TB.

Super Bowl?? I dont know yet. Let me look at a few more numbers and options and I'll get back to you on this one. Miami might be good, a big part depends on whether Ricky Williams stays healthy.

In the NFL, always expect the unexpected. "Thats why they play the game." -The Swami, Chris Berman. :cool:

I am a Tenn college football man, and hate Spurrier with a passion

Is there some kind of rival between UT and UF. Are they like, in the same conference or something. :rolleyes: :D :p

Do you or Tyb do a FFball thing? This will be fun rapping ball throughout the season. With the three of us in different areas, we'll cover a lot of ground.

I have never done any fantasy leagues. The special thing I do for football is: I pick a winner in each game in everyweek, and see what my record is at the end of the year-heres my record over the last 2 years of football, not counting playoffs: 305-191 (So Ive gotten 305 games right and 191 games wrong.) Thats a winning percentage of :62% I hope I do better this year...I know I can. :cool:

Both UT and UF are SEC teams.

I did FF last season, and am doing it again this season. I use NFL.com. they have a really good layout, and everything works great. I could join a league and e-mail you an invite I think, if you were interested. Or we could just set one up from scratch. It's free after all :D

About UT and UF....yeah, or something :rolleyes: :D

@Tyb,

I know the college game as well as I know the NFL, I was being sarcastic.

62% is an excellent winning percentage. Don't go to college and take your record to Vegas. You'll make a lot of dough. Again, sarcasm about not going to school but 62% will make you a lot of money. Don't let this go to your head, gambling on sports is an evil addiction.

@BS,

I'm already in two FF leagues. They both go for pretty big money. It's a crew of friends, we've done it for several years. The parties we have on draft day and at the end of the season make the large fees worth it. We've also got all kinds of weekly winners (most points for team/week, best individual performance/week, and for worst players as well). We have 14 teams so some teams really wind up with the shaft. Thus, we have money earnings for the best and worst. Eight teams make our playoffs. The 4 best and 4 worst. They compete in separate brackets and have two championships, a super bowl and a toilet bowl. We have a strict code of ethics and ettiquette, and fine players for breaking the code, literally for cash. Personally, I think our setup has been perfected and has been envied by many others I know in other leagues. The key to our league is friendship and longevity.

The second league I refer to is all with relatives and goes for decent money as well. It is a winner take all, 100%, no splits. Winning that championship brings a lot of dough but you also float a lot of cash for beer/etc. at family gatherings.

Well I dont gamble on sports. I do the numbers thing just for fun and compete against my dad, he almost beat me last year. :D I still feel I can do better than 62%. There have been weeks where I go 14-1 and there are weeks where I have gone 3-12. There was a week last year where there were 13 upsets in that week, I didnt pick that many upsets that week, and the few I did pick upsets for, I got wrong. That was the worst week of picking games for me. But I rebound quickly and hopefully I can evade such losing weeks like 3-12 or 6-9 or 7-8. If I can get a winning week each week and have an occasional big week this year, I will be happy.

Sounds like the perfect setup Ned. :D Although I have had a fear of betting since I lost my hair. :rolleyes: Stiil,I need to know who your team is, so I don't miss a chance to rag you when they lose a game, as you have already went on record as being anti-redskin :cool:

My bar has now become a Sports Bar... Hmmm.... I bet if I made one directly for that purpose, it would be a hit. Now, where did my axe go...? :)

They're called energy cells, Fas. :rolleyes: :D

I get up to eight rounds per cell, and cells are pretty expensive. That is why I like to use my axe best. :D
