Hi Tyb, I'm wandering around the web, trying to read the NWN manual and mess with my music files

Doing a lot at once, eh? Glad you found some time to say hello. :)
What are your views on NWN, to say that Ive heard mixed reactions of hate and enjoyment, is an understatement. I know Aegis despised the game, how do you feel?
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

I haven't played enough to decide whether I like it. It's hard getting used to the camera angles after playing Morrowind though. The interface seeems flexible but it's still not very intuitive for me yet. :)

Ah you played Morrowind. That was the game I was into most recently, I completed about all the quests in the game and found most of the items, so I got a bit tired of the game. I enjoyed Morrowind a lot, though. I dont think Im ever going to get NWN. I wont have that much time to play it, besides, I have heard too many bad things about it to get me interested and I didnt like what I saw when my friend was playing it while I watched. I think Ill be too busy with-college, forums, LAN Diablo II with my brother, and playing racing sims and what not. With all the stuff I will be doing, its kind of funny to think that the only thing I really am doing now is forum talk and racing sims.

The only thing I enjoyed about NWN was the manual

The game jnust had too many flaws, not enticing enough story, and general bad gameplay to make it worth the $90 I spent on it. For a larger rant on the subject, please refer to the NWN forums, and Morrowind forums.

I like exploring in RPGs so I really liked MW. The fun of entering what I thought was an average dwemer ruin and discovering a huge vampire lair :D I like glass armor :D
LOL chatting in the forums does take more time than you realize, but it's usually fun. :)
Is it your first year of college? What's your major?

Morrowind had a lot of twists and turns I enjoyed. Played for about 3 months straight, but Im taking a break from it. :)

Yup, this will be my freshman year. My major is: Undeclared....
I talked to Viv about this about 3 or 4 hours ago. She asked what I wanted to do, and I said well I could be aiming for history, communication, writing, or some math class-possibly statistics-maybe calculus, but I dont want to push my luck :)

@Aegis-yup I read a couple of your posts about NWN. I often refer to a couple of your quotes when any of my friends or when my brother refers to the game. I think Ill trust your word on this one.

@ Aegis, I haven't had any issues so far, but I'm only in the prelude chapter. I got the game on sale for just that reason though.
@ Ty, much better to be undeclared than in something you hate :)

I don't even think it was worth it, even if it were on sale. with the amount of bugs and glitches... The fact that Bioware allowed a game to be released that worked for %60 of the gaming community that had the specs to run it is just criminal. I've lost a lot of faith in they're products, and will be very skepticle about buying any further Bioware products.

Most of us are around that age. I'm personally 17, with another year of high school. By the way, I'm Aegis, local Sage, Bouncer, Lord of the Spammers, occasionally editor, and Moderator (Wow, never realized how many titles I had  ) I'm generally around at all hours of the day, regardless of timezones. Speaking of which, I think I should update my post in the Anatomy thread.

Feel free to post in there, top of the forum. It helps to get to know the people here.

Well, I enjoy every minute off it. The funny thing is, though, thats jsut what I do online this site. I'm also a moderator for another gaming site (For Jedi Knight 2), plus I write a newsletter for a local gaming club, play highschool football, work in a factory 10 hours a day (though that recently came to an end) attend school(begining soon), and still find enough time to chase most of da' women in my town. :D
