But apart from this, IMPRESSIVE work Alson!
This has to be a record! :)
Congrats!
Thanks Littiz!!
I don't think it's a record - Wes probably did better... ;)
About Chain - well, it's just implemented cheesy - so it's not my fault :p ...

I used to keep with my kensimage Teleport Field in the Sequencer, but I removed it 'cause I never needed it in the end...
Time to reconsider this choice... ;)
Indeed!
This spell is surprisingly good...

@Alson: ehy, Wes MADE them, he knew what to do...
and maybe not even Wes could win Eclipse on the first try!
We should ask... ;)

From the Perfect Cheeser's Manual: High Cheese Standard Defense Argument... :p :D

Abusing glitches = cheese, if you ask me. Chain Contingency is horribly glitchy, and what you're doing to it damn well oughtta be titled "abuse". ;)

OK, accepted.
But, altough i try not to use cheese, IMHO, if an enemy is using cheese on you (*cough* total eclipse *cough*), by all means, feel free to use cheese on him.

consider all the cheesy aspects of eclipse...

you gate in, so no summons army waiting
CONSTANT zone of sweet air...if you try damage over time spells, in chain contingency, youre in for a surprise...

they ignore summons...but lim wish bunny army might work....stacked spell immunites so they are immune to almost all magic...
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

We all use a bit of cheese now and then!
I never used the Chain Cheese, but now with Tashia I always
use Project Images, and the feel of an abuse is strong...

My definitive run through the game will be WITHOUT a sorcerer!

Well, ehm, what makes you think that?
Anyway, it couldn't be otherwise...Powerful but not inherently cheesy...
I mean, I go for an all round character, and the spell list
will be as variegate as possible..

With a sorcerer, you choose Dragon' Breath and you
have 5 of them... you choose Project Image and they become
45 or so! Not again, thanx....
Also I've already edited my future char and added some
bonuses and a major "curse" :)
I still need the Imoen Mod, though.... :( :( :(

I see... Poor Littiz! :(

Think that, somewhere else, in some other time, in some other plane, a girl looking very like your future kensai/mage has just become the great druid...
And beaten Kangaxx, and the Twisted Rune.... (without cheese...) ;)

You may think she's already happy in another life!

(And you made someone else happy, namely me, in this one) ;)
Cheers

Thanx for the support Serje!
I do hope she's been not so druidish though, I don't
like neutral chars, you know...
May I hope in something like Jaheira??? :p :) :D

@ Littiz: It was nearly unavoidable. You know, when you look like Gabrielle, equip like Gabrielle, and almost speak as Gabrielle, you might as well roleplay like she would! :D

Unfortunately, playing with this character fights like Eclipse tend to scare me to death.
I mean... I never feel like "a powerful Bhaalspawn!"
Luckily, I'm going to have my dear Kelsey (which luckyly happen to BE a sorcerer :D ) and great Sola to Watch over me...

Otherwise I'd have to call Xena for help! ;) :p

chloe=xena????

i mean, the simmilaries are there....

gggggggggggggllllee.....

hey guys, looks like even though wes tinkered with ai scripts for eclipse. the ai will still go for simmy, bunnies and mislead clones as higher priority OVER npcs and you...

in wes forum last night someone posted how their simmy got munched...thus a chain triple mislead will switch targetting priority over your tender party...and as i found out, mislead clones almost cannot be killed... way better than wiz eye....

i WILL CHEESE ECLIPSE!!!!

even if i have to create the monty python bunny of doom for alson, equipped with demogorgon weapons.....
They call me Darth...

User, how do you tank with Mislead clones?
I never tried it, but when the enemy cast Mislead and i'm out of True Sights, i always kill the clone in melee - he's just like an unbuffed mage, so he dies in seconds. How can a PC Mislead clone tank?

i WILL CHEESE ECLIPSE!!!!
I'm sure you will! :D

even if i have to create the monty python bunny of doom for alson, equipped with demogorgon weapons.....
Of course! How could i forget he used Demogorgy's weapon!??!

Silly me... :D :p

i WILL CHEESE ECLIPSE!!!!

User, I proudly announce that I've beaten Eclipse!
WITHOUT cheese: no Chain Cheese, no summons beyond the limit,
no duplicating item cheese, not even Project Image to
duplicate spells!!!!
And... no casualties!!!
Only Immie was barely injured.....

I needed 5 attempts (the first ones were tragic, though.. :D )
Guess I've been lucky, too!
Details posted in Wes' forum...

I had to check it out before answering because I wasn't sure, but you were obviously right ;)

And now I have my Xena too, at last...

@User: don't know about Chloe... but IIRC... I would find her trying to romance my pc... ! It would be very odd!

"Non vorrei... scoraggiare nessuno ma... ho veramente bisogno di aiuto!!"

I *love* that voice!
Though we should avoid that particular line... :p
Anyway, good to see you turned Immie to a Swashy!
I mean, nice even to hack, if it serves the greater good

I guess I could make you even happier if I reveal that I finally decided to keep Mazzy instead of the dwarf, to get to rep 20 without trouble? ;)
