what IS the twisted rune?

Post by sigurd »

I see people claiming the twisted rune is one of the toughest fights, but i never saw that one. where and when do you encounter it?

its in the sewers beneath the temple district, top of the map. there are 4 exits from this area-old tunnels to the extreme left of the map, to the surface on the far right, and at the top of the map 2 secret doors. the one on the left side at the top of the map leads to a stairway tomerkoths tower, and the secret door to the right leads to a stairway to the twisted rune, a tough fight for low level chars against several mind flayers and associates.

you'll know the area because you fight a tough enemy party here, if you don't pay them 1000 gp (i think thats the amount)

The twisted rune is in the bridge district in the building south of Delasor's Inn. You enter the side door with a rogue stone.

It has a lich, beholder, vampire, and mage that summons a pit fiend (at least it did for me). Good fight. You're stuck in there until you win. Staff of Magi on dead mage.

I guess I forgot about him. He's the least of your worries in the twisted rune.
