Yes..and no. You see, I've just reinstalled Windows on a new hard drive (well not new, it's very old...and 4GB  ) so I'm having to download loads of applications and drivers all over again. So I'll be around, but not all the time. :)

Is this a repurcussion of your computer not wanting to live? :D

Yes...I blagged a smaller HDD off a friend, and as the other one totally packed up yesterday, and refused to even start, I decided it was time to try out Windows 2000. I like it. :D It doesn't crash every 5 seconds, like ME did...

Look! I'm back! :p

"Is this my first experience with Windows" he says...I've been using Windows since 3.1, through a 95 installation that wouldn't recognise that my modem existed, to a 98 install that couldn't put my graphics card to use because of the numerous device conflicts, and an ME install that...just crashed all the time. Now 2000 seems to be working perfectly, the like of which I haven't seen since the grand old days of DOS and Windows 3.1 :D

Across the pond? Well, usual, really. Rain. Boredom. Had a rare bit of sun today, but of course I was indoors  Going to this LAN party on Saturday, that'll be fun...

I loved DOS...all those fun batch files :p

Hmm, I think in this situation the correct response will be "whatever can fit on my tiny hard drive"...probably UT, Q3, AOE2, GTA2, etc...the standard stuff ;)

Hmm, I've been away for a bit, but was it Berne you're moving to? There's probably some congratulations to be given for whatever it was is making you move, so congrats :)

Yup.
Thanks.
Moving for my masters.
That will also limit my time on GB...plus i am thinking of doing an HLD.
Only non-spam topics for me.
I seriously need to read more books and bone up on some serious stuff :D
I spend way too much time on the net for my taste and own good.
I start that in Sept.
More book shopping and stuff.
So you reading any book these days?

I will be gone till sunday for sure.
I will either post from work monday.
Or from home sunday.
My college starts in october, 1st.
But i rather see the city and stuff 1 month before hand and stuff.
And from then i will be commuting for 1 month bern to geneva to work.
So that limits my free time.
And then college in october will limit me as well.
So i will be off and on...but far more limited in posting here.
