Bonus Merchants: Help please.

Post by Maharlika »

My SoA discs come with a 5th bonus disc which is for the inclusion of the two merchants: One at the Adventurer's Mart and the other at the Copper Coronet. I know I could get the items via CLUA, but I get tired of having to get them the cheesy way. ;)

I have installed the disc and still the merchants are a no show!

Help please. Rest assured, my discs are all legit.

I haven't got the disc myself, so I don't know if it demands anything special when it comes to installation. Why not you try the file here instead?

AfaIk, you can (legally) download the merchants here.

Don't know about the discs... sorry!

(Astafas beat me in posting... the links are different anyway... choose one, hope one will work!) :)

Edit: ah, ok.... we're all online.... and I'm the slowest of the three in typing :p
Never mind.
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

Does (sp?) stand for ..."spoilers"? ;) Uhm, or I think it could stand for "spelling"?
It should be "grazie" then...

@Mah, please let us know what success (or lack of same) you have in your merchants installation. We might have some workarounds if that doesn't work, either. :)

but a big Italian five course lunch with a spumante apperitif, wine, pasta, veal, fresh bread and rich dessert, now that's heaven!!!

How true..... If those are even homemade.... yummm
Now, if you happen to travel here once again, make a call and we'll prepare something! :)
I'm gettin' hungry now.....
@Litty: I could be probably be convinced to vote for that.

Wow, we should reach a world-wide-total of three votes!!! :p
It's always a start....

new merchants

I believe the new merchants only show up in certain capters of TOB. I'll have to try and remember which ones.

As soon as they're installed and you run SoA, the bonus merchants should show up. They are ToB-independent. :)

The new merchants do show up when you install and run SoA,

However, the Adventurer's Mart gets new stock after you return from the Underdark, Could this be what you are thinking of JSP? :)

Yes, thanks Uncly!

@JSPCHIEF: Actually, if you are playing ToB you can never access Athkatla at all.
If you are playing SoA with ToB, you can never access Athkatla again after you get to chapter 7 (Hell).

(Personally, I find both things a little unnerving and utterly unrealistic...) :(

Anyway, anyone interested in the bonus merchants should just remember to do all the shopping before going for the last battle with Irenicus! ;)

(And eventually to pay a visit to the Twisted Rune if they haven't done it before) ;) ;)
