The only 2 animals that I dont like on this planet are monkeys and dogs. So Rachel has got to go. If I must choose between the 2, Ill stick with Buzzy.

But Id rather have, I dunno, maybe female PEOPLE!

I HATE monkeys, ok? It wont work out. If I must go with some sort of animal, it can be ANYTHING else except for dogs. Even dogs are better than monkeys.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH I need a drink

I just got a notice for possible federal jury duty. I hate the whole processof going to the courthouse and sitting around for hours, not to mention the fact that I'll miss 2 days of work (I work nights and can't work the night before or the same night) and my boss will only pay for one

Why two days? I got hit up twice for state jury duty, and in each case they only had you show up in court on a requested date. If the calendar was light, you were able to leave within a couple of hours.

Because Fable its one day of selection process but my work shift is 6:30 pm to 7am. If I'm scheduled for jury duty on the 10th I can't work the night of the 9th and I cant stay at the courthouse all day and go back to work that night. The last few times I've reported for state/city we haven't got dismissed until afternoon.

Ugh. That stinks. Just be sure to offer sufficient human sacrifices to whatever god you believe in that the Feds don't put you in a jury. Those things can really drag out.

Plus if you get selected just to be in the pool it requires a 3 day availability each month for 12 months...

Greetings T'. I have no idea how it is to be in jury duty. This is my first year of being an official adult, so I havent been called yet. I know my Dad gets excited if hes actually chosen, but he hates the waiting rooms and whatnot

I've never been picked, but I've satthere all day in the waiting rooms

I don't mind the state/city jury duty, but the federal one is bad due to the year availability thing.

I might have to go to a jury duty soon, so I want some advice. In a waiting room, what do you do for entertainment. I mean boredom is something I will try to avoid as best I can.

I try not to do anything like listen to music because they call your name and I can't hear the bailiffs when I'm blasting Motorhead

Well Im sorry about your boss only paying you for 1 of the 2 days, and Im sorry about all the painful and boring waiting you will probably go through, but I guess whatever doesnt kill you makes you stronger, right? You might need that strength to continue to deal with us here at SYM.

Well I guess thats one positive about being the mod in all this mess.

However if you addressed the fact that you are a mod of SYM in front of the jury or judge, they might just take you away to an asylum or something.
