question about shapeshifting

Post by strat_frodo »

I read on on gamebanshee in a chart that you can shapeshift into an iron golem and a fire elemental.

How can you do this?

That's with the 9th level wizard spell "Shapeshift". Good luck getting hold of it; even better luck to you in deciding to let go of it.

Seems Limited Wish (7th level spell) has the same ability. Just wish for the ability to change.

You can get hold on it after return from Underdark, nonetheless. It's a great thing, esp. if you are using it as developers have never been supposed you to do. They have been overlooked some consequences, i guess ;) though sometimes i wonder if they have left holes for us to discover and discuss. Returning to the matter, there were some threads below you might wish to see, about killing Arven or how this unbeatable guy is called ... :)
May your Protection from Evil never wear out,
L.
P.S. I wonder if i still would get Shadow Thiewes' help against Bodhi if i'd kill their master after the help is promised. Have anybody tried?

I sided with Bodhi...think a second, you kill their master and about half the guild and expect the remnants to HELP you? I rest my case...

Sorry, bad memory for written names. Aran Linvail, of course. Sorry, i mentioned Arkanis, they had one face for me due to some unknown reason :D My fault, begging pardon,

no, it is different case. I'm about siding with thieves, getting promise to help against Bodhi after returning from Underdark and then hunting Aran Linvail for pure sport. True evil way, but will there be Shadow Thieves in vampires' lair to help me after that?

Lored, how about trying it out. you dont need them anyway. I killed the whole of bhodis lair with only drizzt help. Just let drizzt do all the killing. He cant be killed.

Too late or too early :) One party already had an aid, others have never descended Uderdark yet.
TIA,
