Would someone pleeeeze help me

Hi, my name is Chris and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with the problem that I am having right now. I am horribly stuck in my game and I need to know a few things. I'd be thankful if someone would e-mail me or post a repy to this and answer some if not all of my questions. I know there's a master at Morrowind out there somewhere. These are my questions.

1. Is the Goldbrand the best sword (longblade) in the game? If not, are there any Deadric swords (longblades) that are better? If so, where are there locations.
2. WHERE DO I FIND THE VAMPIRES!!! I want to fight them.....and perhaps save my game and then become one just for fun......
3. Is there anywhere that I could find a Deadric long bow or deadric crossbow with deadric arrows or bolts........sorry about all the deadric references. I love those weapons.
4. Where do I find the Dark Brotherhood....I want to join them.
5. Where do I find the best medium armor? I was stupid and picked medium armor as my armor of choice, so now I'm stuck with it.
6. Where do I find the person who murdered the 7 people in Vivec by slitting their throats? Can't find this person anywhere.

That's about all I need. Thanks for all your help.

1-Goldbrand is most certainly not the best sword in the game. If you want daedric longblades-go to some shrines-kill dremoras-and the weapons they weild are random so, finding a daedric sword from them will eventually happen.

2-Try Golem Daius (Sp?) It is one of the daedric ruins south of Uviriths Grave. It should be the more western one I think. There are numerous other places you can find them-but this place sticks out in my mind.

3- There is one longbow-but I dont remember where to find it! I think someone else here can help you out. -Probably Sojourner, but most everyone who comes to this forum is good for info. No daedric crossbows in the game-I know this for sure.

4-Cant join the Dark Brotherhood. If you still want to find them-the shrine Ald Sotha and the shrine in the Underworks of St Delyn have Dark Brotherhood minions-but they all attack you.

5-Medium armor is actually a good choice-Any thing indoril from Ordinators is good-you can find a dead ordinator at Kogoruhn which is the unnamed stronghold on your fold-away map. Be wary, though, if you are wearing indoril armor and you talk to an ordinator, they will attack you, to avoid this, remove indoril armor before talking to an ordinator. You can also get Ebony mail via the Temple-its the very last quest-VERY good piece of armor

6-Dont know-sorry-again someone else will tell you

@Nerevar: About medium - not so bad, esp. because one can get the good Orcish Cuirass and Boots just in Balmora with just 2 invisibility potions or other way (it's out of plain sight, but altogether noticable enough if one's exploring shops carefully ). Orcish is second after Indorill, better than Dwarven and lighter than any heavy.
Medium and heavy wasn't in my min./maj. lists (Breton witchhunter), but i used them to raise the strength. There is one drawback with heavy armor at the begining - there is almost nothing left to spare of the carrying capacity. If you'd get Ebony or, even more, Daedric while your strength is near the initial settings, you'd find you cannot lift it
And, BTW, there has been a lot of discussions about all those aspects before, why don't just click the "Search" button?

The best long bow in the game, IMO, is the bound long bow (constant effect on a ring). It has no weight, does the same damage as the daedric bow, and also has a constant fortify markmanship effect. There seems to be a bug, even with the most recent patch (as of July), that causes a constant-effect longbow to become permanent after awhile, so you can unequip the ring or whatever without losing the bow.

You can find the daedric bow in the Maelkashishi Shrine, on a platform in the Forgotten Galleries area. The Shrine is located in the West Gash region, not far from the mountains, northwest of Maar Gan. Both the Temple and the Imperial Cult send you on quests here. If you have the area_effect_arrows plug-in, you can also buy it, for mucho gold.
