Having just installed ID2 and mucked around with it for the past couple of hours, I could talk about the interface, the character creation options, the general feel of the game....
Naaah. I want to talk sound sets
Absolute nice job on both the male half orc sound set and the male sorceror sound set. The half orc, especially is a trip. The female drow sound set is largely awful, but redeems itself with a couple of unexpected responses.... my favorite being 'Ah sho' do love'em them spiders!' in a southern drawl
one thing about the sound sets is that they seem to have completly ignored clerics, there isn't a single decent cleric sound set for wither males or females.
One of the HOW_male voices is pretty solid as a cleric. Only one I can think of off-hand. I'm currently using the male bard voice ("One as good as I you've never seen.... skilled and comely and keen") on a duergar cleric with a 6 charisma
