Importing A Character from BG1 problem!!

Hey folks!
I'm trying to import a character from BG1 to BG2 and I'm finding it very difficult.

I've only got the "player.chr" file, which apparently not is enough.
I can however view the character with the character viewer.

AnyOne that can help?

I just imported one this morning wiht no trouble - perhaps you can elaborate? What - exactly - have you done so far?

Try placing the character file (yourname.chr) from your BG1 folder into the character folder of BG2 - that should work.

The last save from BG1 should - if I remember correctly export your character automatically into the character folder of BG1 - naming it char1.chr.

After that you just have to press the "import" button while creating a new game of BG2 select you character and you're set.
