Make my own portraits...?

Post by Perroxx »

Hi folks!

Is there some sort of program u can use to change the portraits in the game or where u can make ur own? I've seen people here show pics of NPC's with their own changes on 'em... how do u do that?

And does anyone know where the "Lady Nightshade" page has been moved to? The link in the sticky post says they'll reopen it somewhere else, but I can't find it...

All you need for a portrait is a bmp. file, IIRC 70pixels by 110pixels in size (though I moght be remembering wrong) and then you can load it from the Character>Customize section of the In Game menu :) .

The large portrait should be 110x170 pixels and the smaller one 38x60. In order to extract a portait from any of the Infinity Engine games, you need the WinBiff found at TeamBG. There are also numerous sites on the net with custom portraits (see the sticky above). Portrait from NWN can be "extracted" by the Print Screen function. If you want to modify portraits, I recommend using Adobe Photoshop. For best quality, always work with the largest version of a portrait and then shrink it.
