Replied to your other post as well

Just do the Mage and Fighter quests, you'll find plenty soon enough.

Or make a habit of raiding each and every deadric ruin you find, there tend to be plenty in those.

Well, first off I tried to loot the assurnabitashpi shrine east of Khuul, but I found nothing but atronauchs there (who kicked my behind on the first couple of tries) and no loot. I did see a plate with a greater soulgem on it with the soul of a fire atronauch contained, but I kept gettin hit by a fire atronauch as soon as I picked it up so I gave up. Also, I am currently wandering the wilderness, looting every tomb, shrine, and outpost I can get my hands on. :) By the way, about how much damage does a golden saint do? I want to try my luck at trapping one, but I am not the biggest risk taker ;)

Soul Gems

If you visit Azura's Shrine & do the quest for her (you will need levitate spell) she will give you Azura's Star, a reusable soul gem. Then, you don't need to carry several around.
