Just a bit of advice but im sure the way daystar dmg works is this....

1d8 +4 +strength +1d8+4 vs undead...

Or in a backstabb 1d8 +4 + strength x 5 +1d8 +4

I dont beleive the 'second lot of dmg' is boosted by strength or backstabb its just a straight 1d8+4 on top of whatever you did in the first place...

However, I may be wrong so test it out for me woulda?

From playing with Dasystar, i think its right.. But the item uses eef files and they may as well be egyptian heiroglyphs for all I know how to read from em so I cant actually get conctete proof from ie
-->Instert cool sig here<--

My Daystar says:
Damage: 1D8 +2, +4 vs. evil creatures, does double damage against undead

plus strength bonus since Jan has 19 for the Girdle.

There are three separate bonus then, and I should get them all (I assume undead to be evil for the very least) :D , but I have no idea about how many of them gets multiplyed by the double damage and how many by the backstab... that's why I'm experimenting!
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

Hey, it worked!
The new Imoen is a "new" npc indeed. The real rogue we all were missing.
(And I even ended up with a really nice detail about the looks... The two sisters now actually resemble each other! This makes sense!) :)

Weekly report on Jan backstabbing undead with Daystar

... I managed to backstab a Skeleton Warrior for some 54 hp.
Not bad.
Unforunately, with Sir Anomen around undead tend to disappear very quickly making the effort a lilltle pointless...

And the Imoen Swashy does more than that amount each round with her regular attacks when double wielding CF and Belm...

I guess I should remember to have Jan cast those Tenser Trasformations prior to further backstabbing experiments! :D
