Henchmen quests in ch 3 (Spoiler request)

I'm almost done with chapter 3 now and still have some henchman quests that are unfinished. I'm looking for Uthgar's spear to give to Daelan and the ashes of a hero for Tomi. Any idea where I should look?

The Uthgardt Ceremonial Spear can be acquired from Zokan Thunderer if you saved the Elk tribe from the plague. If you killed them instead...you MIGHT be fudged. I don't know if he drops them if you kill him. The ashes are found in the Elk tribe's complex itself. Seeing how you don't have either, I'm hoping you just haven't gone there yet, not that you razed the place.

Thanks for the help. I've been at the Elk Tribe and got the cure for them but I didn't search the complex too carefully. I got the spear from it but sold it =(. I thought it might have something to do with Daelan but he hadn't told me what he was looking for at that time. Strange because you usually can't sell quest itmes. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy it back, I sure as hell ain't low on cash.
BTW, while on the subject of henchmen, exactly how much do you have to travel with Linu for her to share the last part of her story? I started using her in chapter to when my journal said that she would only continue her tale if I had traveled enough with her.

The "if you've traveled enough with him/her" thing only means if you have their last reward item. Meaning if you did her henchman quest in chapter 2, you've traveled with her enough. Even if you've never done any real adventuring with her.

Ok, thanks. I think she won't talk to me anymore cuz' I kind of finished her first quest in ch 2. I found the item she wanted in ch1 but forgot to give it to her until the start of ch2.
