Best way to soultrap a golden saint

Post by Lord of Balmora »

What is the best way to soultrap a golden saint? I am only level 7, but with all the plundering and hunting I do, I level up very fast now, and I need a constant effect enchantment or two. I already have the scroll, but they sound impossible, what do I do to kill em?

Gotta kill 'em

They are tough to kill if you cast soul trap in the middle of the fight. What weapon do you have?

I summon 'em, cast soul trap (w/ Umbra 2-handed long sword), then wind up for a big hit (hold the mouse button down). That usually knocks them down, get two more big hits in while they're down and voila! They're dead and trapped.

Simplified

Find out how long (secs.) it takes to kill one, and cast soul trap that lasts longer before you attack.

Spoiler

Spoiler Spoiler

Have you been to Suran yet? If you've heard about a crazy man wander the hills outside of town challenging everyone, he's the one.

Leave Suran from behind the Manor house. You head straight a while and he's hanging out on one of the paths that leads off to the left. It's a dead end path so don't go too far looking.

He's VERY tough to kill.

You don't want to find Umbra. Not yet anyway, not at lvl 7. I was level 16 and found him. Used cheat codes and he still killed me.

Better to avoid him b4 15th level

Of course, you could kill him at level 1. But you'll have to figure that one out yourself, the sword is a little unreasonable that early in the game.
