“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

They do that. Sounds like you had a good evening though.

@DW, both of those photos could easily pass for basically anywhere in NZ.

@Weasel, that photo is just disturbing :D

@Gwally plastic bag? :confused: Oh yes! Doing the whole touristy thing. It was full of souvenirs!

I have heard that North America's Pacific Northwest is quite similar to New Zealand.... though I've never visited NZ I would like to someday.. :)

I really love the Oregon Coast....there is something magical about it.

lol! I'll just bet...of course you are referring to the entirely legitimate small-scale breweries that abound in the place, no doubt :D

@Ysh-Touche. ;)

@Ty-LOL You look like a Blues Brother in that photo, all you need is the glasses and hat. :cool:
(Wish I could have found a Blues Brothers smiley...)

@Viv-Why not grow your hair? I did and it's been one of the better decisions of my life. :) Now it's even long enough to be braided, which looks surprisingly cool. :D

I've just posted a new one and linked to the only good old one I'd posted in the new photo thread, so if anyone cares that's where to look.

I used to have hair long enough to braid . . . when I was in high school, I let some of the girls in my Spanish class put my hair up in a French braid. All they other guys made fun of me because I looked ridiculous, but when I pointed out that while they were playing cards in a group of all guys, I was sitting with a bunch of pretty girls while they played with my hair. Needless to say, they never made fun of me or my hair again.

Before you ask, I cut it to get my black belt (off the collar) and have never grown it out since. My hair is very thick and in Florida, that's a liability, especially if you drive a car without air conditioning. Every now and then I get the urge to grow it out again, but invariably, I have a bad day where it gets really hot out and I go into the barbershop and tell the guy, "Start cutting and don't stop until I say so . . . "
