I dont get it...

Post by Rahvin »

I was putting on armor, mixing and matching to form a full set. At first I had a combo set of glass and orc, somewhere around 44 AC. I threw on some ebony, which has about a 40 increase over some of the other stuff, but my AC dropped to 33. Is this normal? Does it have to do with the mixing of types, or is it something else? I custom classed, I have major in light med and heavy (I thought it out, and it was intentional) so if anything my AC should have gotten larger, my smallest piece is like 50 some, all the way up to 80. I dont understand!

AR

Glass is light, i think.
Orc is medium, again i think.

Ebony is heavy.

Depending on your skill level in heavy armor (prob low if you didn't have any before) it may drop until that skill increases.

Your total AR is a combo of you skill in the armor type and that armor's base number. Also, the cuirass counts for 40%, the other pieces on 10% each. So if you added ebony cuirass w/ a low heavy armor skill; it's likely your overall score would go down for now.
