Ritual problem (spoiler)

Post by Jaesha »

OK, some of you gotta know this.
I´ve just downloaded the ritual mod, pretty cool BTW, but how do you kill the ritual skulls? I think I´ve dealt over 1000 damage, but the only thing that´s happened so far was the skull telling me I could not beat it...
Icewind Gate II Improved engine, third edition rules and the full BG2 storyline.

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

I would suggest to go at Wes' site to find both the mod and a forum discussing the tactics to fight skulls and whatever manner of other strange creatures involved in the Ritual ;)
The mod is quite new and many people (including me) haven't even started playing it!

@Jaesha: I'll try to link the specific thread in that forum if you can't find it, just tell me.
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

Well, I finally killed it with no help. The skull itself wasn´t so hard, as it kept casting zone of sweet air (bug???), though it sometimes used a lvl draining bite. The irritating thing was that ritual darkstalkers kept creeping in on me while they were invisible, thus backstabbing for 84 dmg! (luckily, my earth elemental took that blow :D )

When you meet him for the first time, Pontephix tells you that in order to destroy a skull, you must destroy all of it's defenders.

(I probably cannot be contained either) :p ;)
