Time in NWN

Post by Nagroth »

Has anybody else wondered how time works in NWN ? I noticed that before and after you rest, the game time (as seen when clicking on the compass) seems to be the same. So, what can you do if you´re waiting for a special event, like waiting for daylight because buildings are locked down for the night (as it is in some mods) ?

Browse through the earlier posts; I'm almost sure I saw a discussion of this issue.

Resting isn't the same in NWN as it was back in BG2. Resting in NWN is in real game time. You rest for 10 seconds, then it's 10 seconds equivilant of game time that has passed, making NWN a much easier game to play for spell casting classes than BG2 was.
