Ok so I've figured out the horn is in Fellwood. But noone will tell me how to get through it. The Dryad won't even tell me from the pond on! I really want to kill the Wight!! Will that end the quest??
I don't think it will end the quest. But, if you have a ranger the woodland skill will tell you which way to go by telling you what way not to go. Or, there are other threads on this board with the answer.

i asked about the same question some while ago... check older posts and you'll find a url that will guide you through that part of the game... it's time consuming if you don't "cheat" there...
Will that end the quest??
