Experimenting with Celestial Fury

Post by serjeLeBlade »

I'm trying to use the Celestial Fury "blindness", and I can't figure out how it works. It's obviously not like the spell.
Any... insight?

Can it actually target something?
Can it actually blind someone sometimes?
Is it bugged to death?

Any form of help is welcome!
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...

Lemme see....What I can glean from the item file

It effects one target
It casts intantly
It bypass' magic resistance and is not dispelable
It lasts for 12 seconds
It doesnt work if the target saves vs spells

That might help

What happens to me when I use it is like this:

I see a lot of "creature name-saves vs. spell: x" lines (most likely for all creatures in the area)
I never see a single "creature name-blind" line (regardless of the results of the saving throws).
I tried to use it on a pc (to see if he actually gets blinded) but targeting seems to have no effect.

Very odd isn't it?
I guess I have to go looking for bugs...

To be honest, I have to say that I have the Item Upgrade mod... I posted my problem at Weimer's site too, but he says it's not his fault :(
