bodhi, lose keldorn if you take her side. however you do get rifthome axe, second best to only azuredge for usefullness, and better stats than dwarveer thrower.

Joining the Shadow Thieves gives you an easier fight, provided your cleric has the main anti-Undead spells (like False Dawn). Joining Bodhi means an interminable but fun battle against the entire might of the Shadow Thieves, with a really tough fight at the end. The rewards are somewhat better with Bodhi, but in the end, she'll betray you, anyway.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Technically, both sides betray you somehow. Bohdi in the Asylum I believe, and Linval by hiring the ship captain, and even admitted that he betrayed you. I enjoyed the Shadow Theives much more though.

Side with Bodhi, and you'll get to kill all of them eventually. Image

I think it was Xyx and I who hashed out in a forum, and xyx won, (he cheats....somehow) by pointing out if you side with bodhi, you get to destroy shadow thieves in athlankh....and in chapt 6 you get to waste bodhi as well. so you are serving the cause of goody too shoed ness by siding with bodhi. too bad keldy didn't see it that way...

now me, I am playing a neutral type, so even though I enjoy slughtering theives, its slightly more challenging to the party with good cleric support, since with good cleric support bohis lair is a joke...

I will side with theves to maintain Natures balance by leaving the thieves with a power base intact, so they can balance out the council.

Why don't you just do both? Do one, then the next. I mean, really. I thought games were meant to be played, not conquered.

I followed my conciense on this one. You see I've always seen the Shadow thieves as evil, but in a weird way I havn't realy thought about vampires enough to see them as evil.So in my mind the shadow thieves are more evil than the vampires.

So of course I sided with them Image .

If you side with Bodhi, Drizzt and the MNOOTRH (the Order) will still help you, but if you side with the thieves, you can also get Arkanis Gath to come along. He fights and disarms a few traps.

And no, he doesn't bring his KILLSWORD. Image

It's basically a question of the worse of two evils. The shadow Thieves are nasty, but their not sadistic unholy monsters.

It's an excellent piece of plot by Bioware. Instead of doing a straight good-evil choice of aliegence, you're forced to side with people you don't like.

Of course if you're a thief and have your guild you won't get the choice. Bumber.

My NE assassin was forced to side with the shadow thieves even when I did not have the guild.THAT was a disappointment.I think that Bodhi will not accept a thief

I'd side with bohdi, you get nifty evil quests. And you also get a mess of potions from kill'n shadow thiefs. And my mage/thief multi sided with bohdi just fine and i didn't have mage stronghold.

I played them both (in 2 different games) and I am wondering, if you choose sides with Bodhi, you can't go into Mae'var's and you can't get to Edwin. Is there a way to get Edwin if you choose sides with Bodhi?
