Best Party/Solo

Hi,

I have read all the articles about best party, best soloing etc. I think you can play with any possibility and end the game (my wife plays a sorceress solo ... and its possible).

Ok, all is possible, but what is the best? I think there are some questions:

1. Solo (class?) or party (members?)?
2. Only SoA or ToB/Experience cap installed?
3. How many days (gametime) do you need to end SoA?

I think it could be interesting to know which party/solo class ends the game fastest. This should be the strongest party/class.

The Kensai/Mage is very strong, but only if he has sleeped and all spells. A Fighter needs not to sleep after each battle ...

Could you tell the above questions please?

My first party:

- ToB installed
- Fighter/thief (multi), Keldorn, Minsk, Jaheira, Nalia, Imoen (before Imoen Jan).
- 47 days (not played for short time, maked all quests I could find)

If you have read all the articles then you should have found 'speed solo'. The fastest finish is probably not by the 'strongest' but the sneakiest. If you want to put it into a table, your call. I'd prefer a chair. - Curdis

Chair is ok, but I meant table = chart. Is "table" for chart not ok? I'm not a native englishspeaker

the Monk has good solo potential in SOA only i haven tried to solo in TOB.

Can wear amulet of power
- super casting speed for lay on hands which at higher levels rock.
- immune to level drain!
- immune to charm (very imp in soloing)
- Magic Resistance!!!
- great armour class without the armour
- great thaco (although not as good as pure kensai)
- fast movement rate(especially at the begginning where boots of speed not available)
- plus he no need to rest unless you wan the lay on hands and stunning blow which you will not need when at highrer levels at all

Conclusion : i love the monk!

Draven, some might object to you revealing too much in the SOA forum. You should always put "spoilers" for liability purposes One great solo narrative for soloing a bard through SOA and TOB is

@THE JAKER: Thanks for the "speed soloing" link. The thread is very interesting and the bard and beastmaster threads are very fun.

Maybe you should make a page with links to the best threads. These threads shouldn't be forgotten!!!!

Is the fastest party a party with 6 monks?
