Gong quest

I have almost finished the game and decided to take some timeout to tie up loose quests. I have begun the "limited wish" gong quest and having arrived at the druid grove and killed Grae....where is the gong? I have completed the troll mound while doing the druid grove ages before hand, has this affected this quest??

I seem to recall Roger the Fence playing a part in the whole show. He's down in the sewers.

jimbo-wan,

I believe that finishing the Troll Mound previously does effect the ability to complete this quest. I just checked all of my usual sources and they didn't help. My recollection is that when I tried to do it later in the game (after cleaing the troll mound it wouldn't work). - Curdis

curdis, there is a broken chain when the troll shaman mentions the rakasha istafeer, whom you should already ahve killed. but I did trademeet way before doing the gong quest, and unless you've already got belm I was able to do the quest. aeries and minscs comments on the gong are teh funniest in the game!!!

For everyones interest the Troll Grae attacks no matter what dialogue you initiate, but she asks to surrender after you have belted her a bit. Thing is with lvl 18+ Characters I was killing her in 1 round so the second dialogue never kicked in....

Lucky I got bored and summoned some creatures to finish her for the 15th time, what a stroke of luck.
