Future Adventures

After twice thru Morrowind, I'm ready to move on. Anybody tried the new add-on for Morrowind. Is it worth it, or more of the same? Any more good games out there?

If you haven't tried Planescape, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2 and Fallout, you certainly have to!.

Deus Ex

This one is a little old so you may find it for a good price. It's a futuristic first-person. It does have some RPG aspects (the ending is not pre-determined, but depends on some of your choices).

I'm basically an RPGer but found it quite good. Also, if you do like it, you won't have to wait long for Deus Ex 2 which is due out anytime now, I think.

Another chance to plug Wizardry 8!!!

Came out end of last year and the Wizardry games have always been one of my my favourite RPG series; even preferring it to the BG and IWD (shock, horror) - it has nothing to do with the fact that I keep blowing up my team with misplaced fireballs.
Wizardry 6 still has the best plot, IMHO. However, it's definitely showing its age now.

Wizardry 8 is first person but with a team of 6 and 2 interchangeable NPCs. The graphics are quite impressive and you will need to fight strategically.

Word of warning. Because you have so many characters its easier to fight in rounds, which means that fights can easily take up to 30 mins. in real time.
Two words of warning. Before you create your characters, check out the Wizardry forums regarding race and class. Only certain weapons can be used by specific combinations. This includes the best weapon in the game.

Sorry, didn't mean to go on.

Try Might and Magic 9 I've played all the MM's and if you like RPG's give it a go. It can be played real time or turn based ( good for handicapped persons like me) But loads of fun! :D

RPGs

Thanks all! Have played all except Deus Ex, Fallout, & Wizardry. M&M series always good. Maybe I'll wait for Tribunal.

This is not a computer game, but if you haven't tried it yet, I would STRONGLY recommend it. D&D, it's so fun, although it does require some friends who are willing to spend ALOT of time playing the game, of course that is also neded from you :D . Plus you have to by at least three books(if youre Dungeon Master), and only one if youre player.

I myself play it NEARLY every weekend, and I LOVE it! :)
