Right, I nominate (in no particular order) HLD, Ode, CE, Mr. Flibble, BS, Waverly, Dottie and possibly some more. I think the reasons have pretty much been covered already
Your knowledge is impressive
And your argument is good
But I am the resurrection, babe,
And you're standing on my foot!
As I said in the other thread: I would rather my moderators be less involved in hot topics. From the people I have seen listed, I think Gwalchmai, Maharlika, or Bloodstalker would be appropriate choices.
Peace.

Ok, looks like we have quite a few names. What I'd like to do now is find out which of the nominees are actually interested in becoming a moderator. I think this is all of them:
Gwalmachai
Maharlika
C Elegans
HighLordDave
CM
Ned Flanders
Bloodstalker
Mr. Flibble
Minerva
Yshania
Eerhardt
Dragon Wench
Ode to a Grasshopper
Waverly
Dottie
Basically, moderator status gives you more functions when browsing the forum (you can edit posts, move topics, etc) and gets you an @gamebanshee.com email address. All that I ask of a moderator is that they use their privileges to make sure members abide by the forum rules and respect one another, thus strengthening the community here at GameBanshee.
For those members that are listed above, which of you would be interested in becoming a mod? Once I've heard from each one of you (either yes or no), I will set up a poll so that the rest of the community can vote on who they'd like to see become the next mod.
Well of the nominies, only Waverly is MIA. So Im not so sure youd get a response from him. Just an FYI, Buck. Im sure you knew this already.
BTW-I like the way youre handling this issue. Thinking of the populous is really a smart way of going about anything.

I would be interested in taking up the available mod position. I'm usually in and out of here every few hours for probably about 2/3rds of the day, but as my job is about to change a bit that may be cut down quite significantly.
I'd also like to hear fable and T'lainya's comments on this issue too.
There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't. I think I think, therefore I might be.
I am currently at a conference and have very limited time, but in brief, I thank those of you who have suggested me, but as many of you already know, I unfortunately have to decline due to my irregular job.
My suggestions are CM, Dottie, Ode or Maharlika. Since both Fable and T' are in the North American time zone I think it is an important point that the new moderator is in another time zone, and it would also be good to increase the cultural diversity of our mods by not choosing an American.

Thank you for nomination. Unfortunately, I'm not mad enough... err, well, I am too busy to spend enough time in GB as much as I'd like to. Anyway, there are people capable and willing to take the job than myself.
@Buck: I think we need a mod in Morrowind forum as well, especially if you are spending more time with NWN and IWD 2 at the moment.

I don't think it very probable that at a vote I would stand much chance of becoming a moderator, but that being said I wanted to say that due to time considerations and personal reasons (not to mention that there are others who are far better suited to the job IMO ) I am unable to moderate at the present time.
but thank you for listing me

Id be happy to take this job if you want. I am a frequent visitor to the Morrowind section and I might be ready to step up. But T'Lainya is also ever present there too, so she'd be good for this job aswell.
EDIT-Also if Sojourner is around, shed also make a good mod for Morrowind, I think.
