Not true for katana. Let you see some samurai movies if you cannot get other info, samurai's sword as rule is katana (depends on timeframe, of course, katana is relatively new weapon). It was used both for slashing and stabbing - as well as was wield both one- and two-handed.Originally posted by Aegis:
