Where is Berel Sala?
Where is Berel Sala?
I can't find Berel Sala. I am trying to become Redoran Hortator and the coucilors keep saying the Berel Sala is saying that Im a spy. Nemidia says that he is the Captian of the Watch, but I can;t find him. Please help!

Its because Ive never run into a situation where they accused me of being a spy. I dont recall anything specifically regarding that. I havent done the Redoran Hortator quests in some time now, so its hard for me to remember.Originally posted by Mikael Skiffard

Well my best advice would be-to try to do other Redoran Hortator quests-ie-deal with other councilors. Thats what I did, and then dealt with Venim first. But I dont know anything about this "spy" thing....

The other councilers say either that they will talk with the others about naming me Hortator, or they think that I should be on their own. I went to Bolvyn Venim and he gives some message about me being a spy and that he will *never* name me hortator because I am an Imperial Intelligence Agent. Some random NPCs as well also mention Berel Sala calling me a spy. I am on level 20, my hightest skill is about 65, could I be on too low of a level?

About this "spy" bisiness, there is a House Hlaalalu quest in which you impersonate a Redoran (by wearing a helmet given you) and using the code phrase "orphan of Arnesia", you must get a package which you then return to House Hlaalalu.Now it happened that when I returned to Al'dhrun much later to become Hortator, I accidentally clicked on "orphan of Arnesia".They told me to get out and never come back. I had saved before the Hortator thing, so I just quit and reloded my game. You won't have to do that- just speak with councillor Athyn Sarethi FIRST. Only after you have saved his son from Venym manor (hint-Behind tapestry) can you move forward with the other councillors and the duel with Venym.

Figured it out.
I finally figured it out. I had to talk to each councillor , then I was given the opportunity to duel Venim. After the duel I was given papers revealing me to be an Imperial Intelligence Agent. I had not joined one of the Great houses yet, Haillu wont take me and neither would Redoran. Telvanni will- I like their way of dealing with problems.
