Can someone help me.....I am trying to kill Orios...or whatever her name is in the ice palace(one of the three sisters). Everytime I try and kill her she breaks her staff and becomes invulnerable. Is there some trick here?

lol I think it is Oria? Orios lol

Anyway I haven't faught her yet but I am very close to doing so, I will tell you how I did it tomorrow probably so if nobody has replied by then never fear for I shall come

head to the Battle square and set the unit to inner sanctum then stomp her.

OK..maybe I'm just an idiot... (no comments please..LOL).

Anyway, I defeated the first Battle Square and gained the key to Osia's room. I then chose "inner sanctum" and went to do battle.. after she went etheral, I couldn't touch her with my weapons.

I reloaded and went back to the Battle Square room, and doublechecked everything, when I pulled the "activation" lever it said "inner sanctum" still under construction . What do I need to do to get past this and defeat her?

i've never had it under construction but try temple maintenance. i did not do inner sanctum mode till it calledfor it.

Cajun, is it possible you destroyed the electrical machine? Perhaps you have to fix it first before facing Oriah.

I remember fiddling around with two levers before my party went etheral.

If you talk to Nickademus, he will explain how to use almost every feature of the palace, including the battle squares' three modes & the prisim generator contraption. Hint:You will need to use every feature he mentions to complete the palace, Unless you don't break the prisim generator contraption.

I did break the machine (oops), but used temple maintenance to repair it and then open the doors. Never did open the ice frozen door (just to the right of Lysara's Alter). Won the B.Sq. game (rd 1 only so far) and got the key. Just can't switch to ethereal at this point.

You probably don't need to yet. You will know when its time to go ethereal during your fight with Orias.
