ECL max char level

ECL max char level

Are ECL character's able to get to level 30, or are they limited by their xp penalty (ex: Drow can only reach 28, Aasimer only 29, etc.)? This would affect my race decisions.
We ask, "Are you the enemy?" and if they say, "Yes" we shoot them.

They aren't limited to any level below 30. They experience table continues beyond 30th level for them allowing them to reach 30th character level, but it gets very very high.
It is best to be thought a fool and stay silent, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Just a thought, I don´t think you should let that be the dominant factor in choosing a race. A level or two won´t matter at all compared to the fun you can have with the different classes. That is just powergaming!
