Help!!! i cant find Edwin after left

Post by Soulkeeper »

Edwin left by group after refusing to fight Fiahkragg. I was pretty annoyed becasue he had the staff of the magi and robe of vecna aswell as other decent items (still beat fiagkragg though). i checked the copper coronet and his old shadow theif room and he is in neither,Please help. has anyone had this happen before?

Sorry, he's gone for good. If a character leave the party because of what the party does/is going to do, then that character is gone for good. The only way to get your items back it by cheating them back in.

Grr, he was so good i suppose i will have to use Nalia.
Do you think it would be cheating if i set her exp points to what Edwins were at the time of he left. or cheating to what extent.

Well, sure, it would be cheating, since you're changing the developer's deliberate choices of stats in your favor. On the other hand, it's your game, so who cares?

Personally, I would think of it as a challenge: trying to do the best you can with a lesser mage like Nalia than Edwin.

Better still, if you haven't got Jan in your party, I'd get him. He's the best thief in the game, and a reasonably fine mage, even if he can't go about level 6 on the spells. But it's up to you. :)

I was thinking og going for Jan, however i really want to have a mage who can get to the really high level spells. this is because it is the first time i have played with TOB after playing many times with SOA.

On another note does anyone know what level spells a archer(ranger) can get to. I think it's level 3 but not sure.

Then you have a choice of two (unless you bring back Edwin): grab Nalia, or grab Jan for now, and swap him for Imoen when you get a chance, later. Imoen is a far better mage than Nalia could ever be.

Personally, I would go for Jan. He's awesome for group dynamic, gotta love those flasher master bruiser mates, and he is a great thief.
Look at me, I can't fly!
