Modify your character?

Post by CapnKrunch »

I've been looking through the posts, and haven't seen anything along the lines of how to modify your characters stats. I've made a fatal mistake (okay, not really fatal) but want to change and add a point or two to one stat. My sorcerer has too few points in charisma, and I'd like to add just one or two. Any methods available? I've tried getting into the console commands, but it doesn't seem to activate correctly. I've changed the cheats=0 to =1, but all the commands like CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys() only replies "Nice Try Cheater!".

Any advice? Any way to modify a character? I will keep playing but it's very difficult with 10 monsters and no good room spells. Thanks in advance, or, get bent! Depending on your help response.

modify!!!

just kill some monsters slowly and at every 4 level your characters can add 1 point to a stat in any category!
why does superman let bullets bounce off him then duck when the criminal throws the gun????????

There is no in-game way to modify your character stats. If your know what you're doing, you can try using a hex editor on your save games - look here. The designer of Gate Keeper, etc. is currently working on a character editor - check here. You can also modify one of the .2DA files to have any/each race start out with more points on character ganeration.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
