i have everything done on this level, but cant kill the darn heart.
nothing seems to damage it. how do i kill it?

You use some of the notes you find to use some magical reagents lying around to manufacture a poison that will kill it. I think you need a character with an Alchemy skill of 15 or better in order to make the poison.

It isn't necessary to make the potion, though. I killed the stupid thing before realizing there was probably an easier way. If you go this route, make sure you wipe out everything else in the area first - when you attack the viciscamera heart, everything on the map comes after you (as well as new spawns).
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
