*Spoiler*

Some woman redguard you find on a pathway near Caldera to the northwest or something in that vicinity carries them. She wants to be escorted to Gnaar Mok, I believe, and she'll give you the boots for the escort mission. So just explore the roads near Caldera, Im sure you'll find her about.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

LOL :D I dont know. Ive never done it that way. It isnt a long walk. But if you want to try to kill her-save before hand, and then kill her, and see if you can pick up the loot. If it isnt there, then you should load and then escort her to Gnaar Mok.

magic resistance helps try either enchanting other items, getting the saviors hide, being a breton etc. I think constant effect night eye helps as well.

ROFL :D Did you do what my brother did when he found out? He basically became so enraged at her for giving him the faulty item, he immediately attacked her. :D He was so angry.

When I first got them, I was REALLY poor (I was only a rookie at the game, so I really wasnt any good at managing my money-and knowledge on where to sell stuff) so I gladly took the boots and sold them. :D

Blind?

What exactly does the blinding effect do? I haven't got the boots yet, but I plan to get them soon. Does the screen go black or something??

do they let you run over water or up mountains or can you do a runing charge fist attack combo and drop an enemy with 1 blow to its weak spot?

Or can you run up a cliff and jump and fly up into the air then land 300ft away in a ditch dead?

The blindness is curable via magic resistance, but that a lot of trouble to go through. I just said: Skip it. And moved on... :D

I see fine

Not sure what effect the blindness is supposed to have, but it certainly doesn't prevent me from doing anything, just looks like the gamma is set very low.

I would definitely keep them in inventory. They are light and very useful for traveling through wilderness that you've already explored. I wouldn't wear them if you are passing through uncharted territory. You can miss things when running around that fast.

Lotsa fun!

It's also a lot of fun to run from one town to the next w/o killing anything, they all follow you into town and then the guards an npc go nuts trying to kill them all.

Them being cliff racers and such.

I just increase my TV's brightness, and run around happy! :)
Nice boots, really. I started off with an Orc with 35 speed so it was really annoying to go places, but I got the boots and zaap, I'm there!
