What happens when you beat the guilds and become master?
Do you get anything special or a new ability?
Just wandering.

Yeah, nothing happens. Its too bad. The main point of the guilds is to get money, items, and experience. No reward for becoming leader.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

You want me to bump the thread that talked about what we wished would happen if you gained leadership in a guild?

If youre tired of wearing the Imperial Legion Armor, you can download a mod at http://www.Morrowind-mods.com. I think the mod gives you a ring you can wear instead of the armor. Pretty smart, I would think.
Yeah, the chain armor that you found is what I alluded to. So far it is the best heavy armor that I have found. Is there a piece of medium or heavy armor better than that? The legion also gives a two handed sword at the last quest.
As a side note, I am a little dissapointed that the game doesn't take the faction quests farther. It would be pretty fun to be in command of the legion and order people to do stuff. However, I suppose that would have to be a game in itself.
Anybody know what the TEMPLE gives?

Some really good stuff, most notably a hammer they give you for completing a quest, and possibly the best cuirass in the game, though its medium armor.

Nope. Im referring to something different. Though Skull Crusher is better. And, yes, the cult tells you where items are and lets you keep them, so its a good thing to join.Originally posted by UncleScratchy
If you're talking about the Skull Crusher hammer, that was an Imperial cult mission, not from the Temple. Its been the only weapon I've been using since I recovered it - that and a dwarven crossbow. The Imperial Cult lets you keep the quest items you recover for them. On the other hand, my experience has been that the Temple takes all the quest items. I'm not sure why, but the Imperial Cult won't let me advance past level 8 - the Oracle lady says they will send someone for me if they need my services again? Anyone know if this is part of the overall plot?
The Temple lets you keep a couple things. I can tell you what quest you get the hammer for, but I dont feel like writing a spoiler atm.
@Mikael Yup. Best armor Ive found yet, but its medium armor-so if youre not proficient in medium armor it may not be worth it...

Which hammer?
Are you refering to Veloth's Judgement? I didn't have to complete any quests for that or the Holy Shield. The temple gave them to me in order to complete a quest. If you are refering to something else, i'm very interested b/c i'm the head of the temple now and haven't come across any other hammers or shields.

Okay - I know the hammer you're referring to - the one you get for completing some riddles. Basically its just a really heavy enchanted draedic hammer - weighs about 80 pounds. I have it but considering its weight and enchantments don't feel its worth carrying around. You get an extremely heavy enchanted ebony shield at the same time. I finished that quest and suddenly I'm a couple hundred pounds over encumbered with these dubious temple gifts.
Do you get the medium armor for going into Red Mountain? Can you even do that quest before doing the seven Nerverar tests?

*SPOILER*
Its the last item you get for the last quest for the Temple. And retrieving it is the last quest.
BTW-UncleScratchy do you want directions on where to go in Red Mountain, or is everything well in hand?

Well there are 2 temple quests that deal with Red Mountain. One item is in the dwemer ruin called "Dagoth Ur"......isnt that an important name or something? It rings a couple of bells in my head.
And the second item, well I dont remember exactly. Its in one of the dwemer ruins somewhere up there. I cant really remember where this atm....I feel stupid that I dont remember which one, I think its the one either south of Dagoth Ur or the one to the North west of Dagoth Ur, but I dont remember that much regarding the exact whereabouts it is. There are only a few dwemer ruins up there, and each one yields good items, so its worth looking around for, if that info makes you feel any better.

Um.. It isn't the couriass you find in the closet in Tel Fyr? The one with 60% magic resistance. Cause' I have 100 in Heavy armor, and 100 in Medium armor. If it is I would say that Lords Mail is better.
Nope. Thats not what Im referring to either. Thats light armor, called Cuirass of Saviors Hide. The best light armor in the game. The Lords Mail is the best Heavy armor in the game. For the medium armor, called Ebony Mail, you must obtain it in a temple quest.Originally posted by Mikael Skiffard

Well I see Draygen got to post before I did. Yes, Im just going to agree with his post.
Right, for the temple you get quests from the people at Ald Ruhn, then Molag Mar, then the High Fane in Vivec, then you go to Ghostgate, then you have to go back to the High Fane and talk to a different guy by the name of Saryioni, as Draygen said, to get the new quests. I believe thats the advised order to recieving temple quests.
