Greetings,
Just thinking as i do, how about creating armour which when an enemy hits you its drains their health, or poisons them or chrams them or whatever you want. Is this possible. I dont know.

Maybe if there is a spell for 100% fire resist you could also enchant armour that cast a huge fireball with a huge blast radius when you get hit.

How about a sword that when you swing it it casts a fire ball in the direction in which you swing it. You probally cant do this but it would be cool, maybe with a mod. Similary if you could do it with a bow.

What would also be cool if a levitate spell threw the enemy up into the air and then let them fall was put on armour. THat would be so funny.

Well thats its for now
Peace out

Well, it may be cool for like the first few times it the item did any of the things you said but it'd be SOOOOO unbalanced it's not funny... that is unless the enemy could do the same thing to you... now that would be a RIOT but people would get pissed at the game VERY fast :D

One of my favorites is the amulet that has the bound glove/helm/boots/cuirass/shield for 29 secs. I feel guilty that I somehow ended up with a permanent bound longsword and I can't bring myself to destroy it. Oh well I just got some frost monarch sword, it's a dai-katana with a wicked frost hit so I maybe I will finally do the decent thing and lose the bound longsword in a lake somewhere.

The next item I want to make is a feather/jump/slowfall effect. I need to have higher enchant for that one though as the charge cost is to high right now.

Well, I made a nasty set of Bonemold gauntlets. I enchanted one of them with a fireball spell, ranging from 15-40 damage in a 10 foot radious, sucks up a lot of charge, but worth it. The other one is a heal 5-10 hit points, with a duration of 7 seconds. :D

Few questions for you veteran enchanters

1. How many enchantments can most exquisite items (rings, amulets, clothes) usually contain.

2. What does the Sanctuary spell do?(no real definition in the manual or on web pages for this one)

3. What does the Shield spell do?(no real definition in the manual or on web pages for this one too)

4. Is it possible to do a constant effect spell on a summoned monster say a..................golden saint?

5. If I have the Levitate spell and the Waterwalk spell do either of these cancel or effect the other negatively?

Thanks In Advance

Recipe for the Nerevarine suit

1) Enchant a ring with summon Golden Saint.
2) Summon, soultrap, slay ;)
3) Repeat as much as you need ;)
4) Now you got a bunch of constant effect gems :D
5) Use'em to enchant your dress, armor, whatever with constant fortify attributes
6) Go to rule Vvevanderfell :p

now that i have directions for golden saint summon spell, i shall replace my sucky steel armor for full set of bound daedric plate...

is good with my very high heavy armor skills, and is light, so no encumberence....

will have to find exquisite set of clothes, pants, shoes and shirt, and robe...etc...

i wonder if unarmored and heavy will STACK...

when you guys build WANDS, like taking a ebony shield and putting in a heavy charge, (Saints!! hint, hint...)

and use it to cast fire damage spells, go for low damage, and longer DURATION!!!!!

a souped up fireball spell, i call napalm, with a longer duartion, 8 secs or so, will set a creature on FIRE, if you hit it within blast radius, and deliver the damage every second during those 8 seconds!!!!!

this kills most mid level monsters, and i think it will disrupt spell casting, hint, hint....

good for mage battles, eh????

wont stop meelee, but is absoultely the perfect assassination, sniper weapon.....

looks great too...fire, they get this flames coming out of their body, spark, there is this blue swirly mass off to side, with mini lightning boots hitting the target.
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

Sorry about bump, but will this be created? I've just got the game...

If some of you would like to send in your useful enchantments, I can begin a page on the site. I know I've got a few. Send them to webmasters@gamebanshee.com if you want your enchantment known.

Question

Is it possible to make a shield or helm enchanted with "Soul Trap on Target when hit"? I've got shortsword with the Soul Trap enchantment, and found it useful (too useful. I've got too many rat/mad crab soul gems... :o ). I just thought it would be nice to trap souls when they attack me. :D

BTW, I found it difficult to soul trap Bull Netch. Is there any good way? I have lots of lesser soulgems to use.

Thanks. :)

On intelligence and enchantment

Quick side not about skills and stat multipliers:

Your misc. skills will not help you level up. However, increasing your misc. skills will affect you stat multipliers the same way major/minor skills do. So increasing your intelligence is not more difficult than anything else. IMHO, endurance it the hardest to get good multipliers for.

OK. Back to enchanting.

To the open lock guy - if you go for 90, just make it 100, I did and don't recall a huge difference in price and I only needed an extravagant ring (as opposed to exquisite).

On healing - Regeneration is the way to go. I have exquisite shirt and pants w/ constant effect restore health 2hp(each)/sec. Even near death, it only takes one hour of rest to be back to full health.
Potions work best for in combat healing, you can continue you offensive while downing the potion. So I try and constant effect enchant any apparel i wear.

Anyone know of anything out there w/ more than 120 enchant points?

@Dukov_Nook: How did you create that? I have been saving an exquisite robe for that purpose but it doesn't have enough enchant points to hold a constant effect resist fire.

Re: Fatigue

After wasting a Golden St. for a weapon "cast when strikes" ability (takes FOREVER to recharge, and you strike with a weapon a LOT), my next Golden St. went into a Breastplate that constantly restored 3-4pts of fatigue (all I could fit into the enchantment). Now I can run forever. It's kind of lame, I'll admit, but very useful. Running out of energy when I ran everywhere got a little old.

Here's a fun question, can I DISenchant something? I messed up on a weapon and would like to try again (I don't think I could find another Daedric Battle Axe). Or, should that not work, I'll listen to the console command you tell me to import a new one. I'll re-earn the soul-gem to power it, but my health absorbsion was too high. Thanks.

I don't think you can disenchant. You should be able to find another battle axe though. Pretty sure i came across a few.

Feather is a waste

Whether you are enchanting feather or strength, the item you enchant will hold the same magnitude of each. I.E. an exquisite shirt will hold a 12 point feather or a 12 point strength (constant effect). On one hand, feather counts as a 1:1 ratio against your weight limit so a feather enchant of 12 allows you to carry 12 lbs. more equipment. 12 point strength will allow you to carry much much more. :D

Just wanted to stress the uselessness of feather enchants as mentioned above.

My favorites are exquisite rings enchanted with constant effect levitate (7-9 pts) and constant effect light. Now I can travel as the crow flies and no more dark tombs. While levitating, I can use stars or bow/arrows to attack.

Exquisite ring must have

Constant effect levitate is extremely useful. I have the same. I like the light idea as well, but i already put water breathing on mine. Too bad that all three probably don't fit on one ring.

Forget water breathing

Drop 3 or 4 points of restore health, constant effect: The effect practically negates the damage of drowining so that you basically get be underwater as long as you like
Plus, restore health helps in all your battles.

I rate this a full wheel of cheese-enchant. But it sure does make slicing & dicing golden saints a walk in the park.

I've got the Summon Golden Saint spell in Sadrith Mora (I think). I can't remember exactly where...

I haven't got the Fatigue regenerating spell (I make potions instead), but try shrines/temples. They usually have restore related spells.

I was also thinking the similar enchant. Summon in one ring, Soul Trap 100% in the other (or maybe weapon). :D Haven't tried yet, though.

EDIT
Just checked another forum. Found the Summon Golden Saint Spell in Tel Branora, upper tower.
